IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TOLLWAYS IN TEXAS
Many highways in Texas are actually Tollways. However, there are very few manned toll booths in the North Texas region. If a booth isn’t manned, an electronic reader will read your license plate and will send you or your rental car company a bill for the toll. This bill is not a ticket, provided that you pay the bill on time. Usually, you can simply drive through any lane with an electronic reader and do not have to stop to pay a toll. If you are in doubt, please speak with your rental car company about the correct procedure for the vehicle you are using.
From DFW Airport
There are two exits from the DFW Airport. Follow the signs to the North exit. Then, take International Parkway North / TX-97-Spur North. You will merge onto TX-121 North. In approximately 16 miles, you will exit TX-121 and turn Left (north) onto Dallas North Tollway. There is construction at this intersection and you cannot currently merge from one highway to the next. Rather, you exit TX-121, come to a stoplight, and will turn Left onto the Dallas North Tollway. Drive 2.9 miles and exit at Cotton Gin Road / Main Street. You will now be on a service road that runs parallel to the Tollway. Follow this service road until you reach the stoplight for Main Street in approximately a mile. Turn Right onto Main Street. In a half mile, turn Right (south) onto Frisco Square Boulevard (which is also called Coleman Street or Library Street.) It is the stoplight directly in front of a large stadium called Pizza Hut Park. Proceed south for about a quarter mile. 6136 Frisco Square Boulevard is on the left, and there is parking behind the building. NOTE: while traveling on TX-121 and approximately 4 miles before you reach the Dallas North Tollway, you will see an exit for FM-423 (which is also called Main Street.) This is NOT the Main Street exit you need. Continue past this exit all the way to the Dallas North Tollway and follow the directions from there.
From Dallas Love Field Airport
Head southwest on Cedar Springs Road, towards Contrail Lane. Turn left at Mockingbird Lane. Turn left onto Dallas North Tollway North. Go approximately 22 miles and exit Cotton Gin Road/Main Street. You will now be on a service road that runs parallel to the Tollway. Follow this service road until you reach the stoplight for Main Street in approximately a mile. Turn Right onto Main Street. In a half mile, turn Right (south) onto Frisco Square Boulevard (which is also called Coleman Street or Library Street.) It is the stoplight directly in front of a large stadium called Pizza Hut Park. Proceed south for about a quarter mile. 6136 Frisco Square Boulevard is on the left, and there is parking behind the building.
From Tyler City Airport
Head west on TX-64 toward County Road 1184/Parker Road. Go approximately 35 miles and turn left at I-20 Frontage Road. Take ramp onto I-20 West, continue approximately 24 miles. Keep right at TX-557 Spur West (Signs for US-80 W/Dallas), continue on for 4 miles. Continue onto US-80 West for 15 miles and exit onto I-635 North. Continue on for 16 miles and exit 22C for Dallas North Tollway. Merge onto Dallas North Tollway and continue for approximately 16 miles, exiting at Cotton Gin Rd / Main St. You will now be on a service road that runs parallel to the Tollway. Follow this service road until you reach the stoplight for Main Street in approximately a mile. Turn Right onto Main Street. In a half mile, turn Right (south) onto Frisco Square Boulevard (which is also called Coleman Street or Library Street.) It is the stoplight directly in front of a large stadium called Pizza Hut Park. From Austin City Airport
Head east on Presidential Boulevard. Keep right to remain on Presidential Boulevard. Turn Right onto TX-71 East. Enter onto Texas 130 Toll North ramp on the left to Texas 45 Toll N/Waco. Merge onto TX-130 N and continue for 35 miles. Exit I-35 N and continue staying left towards I-35 N/Waco. Continue on I-35 N/Waco for approximately 105 miles. Slight right at I-35E North, continue on for 59 miles. Take exit 429D for Dallas North Tollway and merge onto Dallas North Tollway North. Continue on for 24 miles and exit Cotton Gin Rd / Main St. You will now be on a service road that runs parallel to the Tollway. Follow this service road until you reach the stoplight for Main Street in approximately a mile. Turn Right onto Main Street. In a half mile, turn Right (south) onto Frisco Square Boulevard (which is also called Coleman Street or Library Street.)
