In a typical client agreement, we generally become the owner or exclusive licensee of their patent with rights to enforce and collect past damages and take responsibility for licensing and enforcement at our expense. The client receives a percentage of our net recoveries from licensing and enforcement, up-front cash or both.

As our revenue is solely based on the success of our licensing and enforcement program, we are highly selective in accepting new clients or acquiring new patents and are generally interested in those where we can establish good evidence of infringement with significant past damages.
