Client Agreement
In a typical client agreement, we generally become the owner or exclusive licensee of a patent portfolio with rights to enforce and collect past damages and take responsibility for licensing and enforcement at our expense. The client can receive a percentage of our net recoveries from licensing and enforcement, and in some cases an up-front cash payment.
The initiation of a licensing program demands a large commitment of both financial and personnel resources. Accordingly, we are highly selective in accepting new clients and acquiring new patent portfolios.
